Let the shooting comences...

So we are finally here, tomorrow (the 6th Nov 2009) we start filming "Seeing Heaven". We have a tight schedule of 13 shooting days in total (with a few rest days in between), and plan to finish the shoot on the 22nd Nov 2009.

We are all very excited about the film, and the preparations have been hectically ongoing since a while back now. Director Ian and our Cinematographer Alessio has been planning shooting angles and ways to maximise the shooting schedule. I have attached below some of Ian's rough sketches to visualize his vision of how the shots should be composed, it has been a great help.

While in a different department our Production Designer Lamis has been busy preparing to set up the sets, as well as the usual preparations of props and overlooking the wardrobe and key items etc. While her assistants Pedro & Nigel has been running around town to procure some of the props etc. Pedro will also be in charge of the Catering facilities on set, so if you (the actors & crew) have a particular liking for something, who knows, if you sweet-talk him you might be able to get it, hehe.

I myself (Anton) has been busy scheduling and breaking down the scenes of the script per actors, as well as finishing of some paintings and preparing the Tarrot cards with some colour-splashes (see below). I have also been organising the Extras and Models for the party and club scenes, and am hoping for a really exciting time for those shots indeed.

We have also got a wonderful sponsor from the Make up company MAC and they will provide us with free make-up for the cast. We are very grateful for this indeed, thank you.
